Binani told FOX that black diamonds, also known as carbonado, are believed to be from outer space because of where they’re found – closer to the Earth’s surface than other diamonds – and their chemical makeup, particularly the presence of a mineral called osbornite, which is "uniquely found in meteors," Binani said.
Sophie Stevens, a jewelry specialist at Sotheby’s Dubai told AP that carbonado diamonds are believed to be "formed through extraterrestrial origins, with meteorites colliding with the Earth and either forming chemical vapor disposition or indeed coming from the meteorites themselves."PELOTON JACKING UP PRICES FOR ORIGINAL BIKE, TREAD AS INFLATION ACCELERATES
