Lopuksi Black Friday on vuoden parhaimpia päiviä ostaa uusi tai päivittää vanha televisio uuteen. Monet malleista julkaistaan usein jo alkuvuodesta, jolloin marraskuussa järjestettävä Black Friday pystyy tarjoamaan näistä tuntuvia alennuksia. Marraskuu onkin yksi parhaimpia kuukausia ostaa uusi televisio.

Tätä ennen alennusprosentit vaihtelivat 15-20 % välillä, maanantaina hinnat tippuivat lähes 25-30 %. Päivät ovatkin ensisijaisesti verkkokauppojen oma ilmiö. Monet kivijalkakaupatkin tarjoavat nykyään Black Friday- ja Cyber Monday -tarjouksia, mutta halvimmat tarjoukset nähdään silti yleensä verkossa. Tänä vuonna koronatilanteen vuoksi myynti voi olla entistä enemmän keskittynyt verkkoon.Black Friday -termi lähti liikkeelle marraskuussa 1951.
