On February 25, an anonymous individual made a post on an online community alleging that their friend had been physically assaulted and strangled by her boyfriend, an idol referred to as “B,” while trying to break up with him.
A noted that their friend could have died in the incident, writing, “If people nearby hadn’t helped her, my friend might no longer be alive today. She even has medical records of her injuries.” Later that day, BLANK2Y’s agency Keystone Entertainment confirmed that Youngbin, who first entered the spotlight as a contestant on Mnet’s audition show “The agency’s full statement is as follows:First, we sincerely apologize for having given [BLANK2Y’s] fans and many other people cause for discomfort and concern.
