A beloved blind dog has been found safe and well after he was allegedly stolen from a Gold Coast home.9News

Police said a member of the public spotted Bowie and the allegedly stolen car on Taylors Arm Road in Utungun about 10.30am.Police are calling for public assistance to help find Bowie, the Australian shepherd stolen from Southport on Wednesday, July 7, 2023.

"A short time later, an officer attached to Traffic and Highway Patrol Command stopped a grey SUV on Taylors Arm Road, Congarinni," Police said in a statement. The family pet, with distinctive black, white and gold fur, and blue eyes, was allegedly stolen from a home on Regatta Parade in Southport on Wednesday.
