From Wednesday to Friday, a broad area of severe heatwave conditions will sweep across most of NSW, with extreme conditions forecast for parts of southern NSW.Bureau of Meteorology forecaster Rose Barr said: "As a general rule, fire danger increases with higher temperatures. During a significant chunk of the week, a broad part of the state could potentially reach or exceed the 'severe' fire danger warning.
