AFL: Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley didn't mince words when asked on a range of topics, including his coaching future with the club and whether Dan Houston will remain with Port in 2025.

The Hawks are the hottest team in the AFL .. so how do you even begin to go about stopping them? The four semi finalists burning question as well as the commentators for every Fox Footy game, in our ultimate weekly preview:Watch the best coverage of the 2024 AFL finals, with expert analysis and every game until the Grand Final LIVE with no ad-breaks during play, on Kayo.

How to watch on Fox Footy: From 6:30pm with Kath Loughnan, Jonathan Brown, Nathan Buckley, Jordan Lewis, Mark Ricciuto & Jon RalphKen Hinkley is under more pressure than any other coach in the game right now after an abysmal outing against Geelong in last week’s qualifying final. It’s been the same story under Ken for a number of years now. They are strong performers in the home and away season but haven’t been able to put it all together in a September campaign.

Hawthorn has rapidly gone from fun story, to finalist to flag contender. And if not for the seedings, potential flag frontrunner. The form side of the completion in the second half of the season, the Hawks have won 12 of their last 14 games including four in a row. The brash, young side is playing with a special confidence and healthy football arrogance. It’s this unification that’s perhaps Hawthorn’s biggest point of difference.

Brisbane have been red hot out of the gates this season, but they’re spending lots of energy early in games and potentially running out of steam. The Lions jumped out to a 60-point lead against Carlton in a cutthroat elimination final last week to lay the platform for a strong win on their home deck. The Lions have been the best performed team in first quarters this season, but statistically gradually get worse as games wear on.
