BMG has finalized a deal to develop a full-service music facility in Los Angeles
The location, which will become the music publisher's new home, is a 30,000-square-foot space at 5670 Wilshire Blvd. -- only seven blocks east from BMG's current facility.
This announcement comes only two months after the launch of the new Nashville facility and 18 months after the opening of the new location in New York. The L.A. hub will consolidate the West Coast publishing and recording teams with synch and licensing, film and books, and BMG Production Music. Additionally, the increased space will allow for further expansion and the company to fully integrate the recently-acquired Rise Records into the West Coast recorded music team. Hartwig Masuch
