The high-performance wagon packs a punch with 405kW and 650Nm, making it a tenth quicker than the standard model.

The BMW M3 CS Touring has made its global debut at Mount Panorama in Australia , ahead of this weekend's Bathurst 12 Hour event. This marks the first time a BMW model has been revealed to the world on Australia n soil. Price d from $253,900 before on-road costs, only 55 examples of the M3 CS Touring will be available in Australia from mid-2025.

This limited-edition performance wagon commands a premium of $67,000 compared to its standard M3 Touring counterpart and is even $4,000 more expensive than the M3 CS sedan, which had a limited run last year. Like the CS versions of the M3 sedan and M4 coupe, the M3 CS Touring has undergone enhancements to deliver sharper handling and increased performance. Its twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine now produces 405kW and 650Nm of torque, a 15kW bump achieved through adjustments to boost pressure and engine tuning. BMW claims that a CS-specific engine mount has enhanced rigidity between the engine and chassis, resulting in a more responsive driving experience. Power is delivered to all four wheels via BMW's xDrive all-wheel-drive system and an eight-speed torque-converter automatic transmission. The M3 CS Touring sprints from 0-100km/h in a blistering 3.5 seconds, a tenth quicker than the standard wagon, and reaches a top speed of 300km/h. Cosmetic changes are subtle, but the M3 CS Touring boasts exclusive matte gold bronze or black wheels, a distinctive yellow LED daytime running light signature, and a host of carbon-fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) components including the bonnet, front splitter, air intakes, mirror caps, and rear diffuser. Inside, the cabin features an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, CS-specific centre console and sill plate badging, and CFRP accents on the centre console, front bucket seats (which are power-adjustable and heated), and shift paddles. These lightweight additions contribute to a weight saving of 15kg. The M3 CS Touring retains the M3 Touring's 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch infotainment touchscreen running the BMW Operating System 8.5. Buyers can choose from four exterior colours for this exclusive model. Australian deliveries are scheduled to commence in mid-2025
