A family were onboard a boat that had broken down when a father and daughter fell overboard.
Two parents and four children were onboard a boat that had broken down on Kinchant Dam west of Mackay about 11.15am on Saturday.Lake Kinchant has been closed as emergency services scour the waters for the missing dad.
All emergency services, including police, paramedics, firefighters, SES, RACQ Rescue and volunteers, rushed to the scene. The girl was located and taken to hospital without any injuries, while the mother and three remaining children were taken from the boat safely to shore. Crews have been searching the dam for the past two days, with the body of the 40-year-old man being discovered 6.50am this morning.
