Police have confirmed they have located the body of a man in a fire-ravaged home in the small town of Bodalla, near Moruya, on the NSW South Coast.
Earlier today officers from South Coast Police District found human remains after the Badja Forest Road fire impacted the area on Thursday.Kate GeraghtyThe remains were found at a home on Bumbo Road in the town of roughly 800 people, just off the Princes Highway.The Badja Forest Road fire, which was at "emergency warning" level for most of Thursday, is now more than 260,000 hectares in size.The discovery marks the 25th person lost in NSW since the start of the fire season.
