Makayla Meave-Byers’ cousin found her body wrapped in a carpet and dumped in a ditch
When Meave-Byers failed to return from her outing, law enforcement officials launched a search for her involving drones and K-9 dogs.Mom-of-six Makayla Meave-Byers was found dead in Oklahoma last week, days after supposedly going on a date with an unknown man.The 30-year-old teacher’s aide, right, was found wrapped in an old carpet wedged inside a drainage ditch in Macomb, Oklahoma.
On Friday, the medical examiner’s office confirmed that the body found in the culvert was Meave-Byers.
