Rory Angelotta, 43, a 1996 graduate of St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, was reported missing on Christmas Day.

‘We offer our condolences to the family and hope that this will provide them closure to this tragic event,” the sheriff’s office says in the news release. Authorities believe Angelotta might have been trying to find the neighborhood near Truckee, but he succumbed to the elements. There was no indication of any suspicious or unusual activity.
Angelotta is a 1996 graduate of St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland. He moved to Colorado several years ago, but moved to Truckee in October. Reportedly an experienced skier, he went skiing on Dec. 25 but later was reported missing when he did not show up for a planned dinner with friends.
