Bolt calls for Andrew Giles and Clare O’Neil sacking over alleged attack on Perth couple
Sky News host Andrew Bolt slams the Albanese Labor government over their “so shameful” lack of actions on the released detainee who allegedly attacked Ninette Simons and calls for Andrew Giles and Clare O’Neil to be sacked.
“I mean, this is so shameful; where is the Immigration Minister? Where is Andrew Giles? Where is his boss, Home Affairs Minister Clare O’Neil,” Mr Bolt said. “Why have they spent all day, yesterday too, hiding from the media; in fact, they are hiding from their responsibilities on what is turning out to be an absolutely disastrous couple of days for the Albanese government.
“Apologies if this photo is too graphic, but this is Ninette Simons; she is 73, she is a cancer sufferer, and she and her husband were bashed allegedly by a Kuwait man these two ministers had released from detention without proper controls. “These mistakes that let this man … go free, allegedly, to bash and to rob … the refusal of this government to come clean on what happened … the refusal of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to hold his ministers to account for a gross dereliction of duty, and to sack them, like I say, Giles and O’Neil today in hiding.”
