A bomb detonated in the lobby of the Scarlet Sails residential complex in Moscow, killing Armen Sarkisyan, the head of the boxing federation in Russian-occupied Donetsk and founder of a pro-Russia battalion fighting in Ukraine. His bodyguard was also killed instantly. Sarkisyan was wanted in Ukraine for alleged war crimes. No group has claimed responsibility for the blast, which Russian security services described as a targeted assassination.
