The man, believed to be from Bangladesh, was with two friends when they fell into the water at Bombo Headland Quarry, about three kilometres north of Kiama, on Sunday afternoon. "Over the last few years we've seen a lot of incidents where people have come into trouble taking selfies off rock platforms and, unfortunately, falling off cliffs," Mr Pearce said.Instagram and TikTok users are being lured to their deaths in the search for the perfect selfie, researchers have found.He said there was an "inherent danger" to people who head to beautiful remote locations, with often no help around if you do get into trouble.
