Authorities have arrested at least one person who they allege is connected to a crime syndicate using restricted cold and flu medication to manufacture methamphetamine.
Pseudoephedrine is a controlled drug used in some cold and flu medications that cannot be purchased without proof of identity.There is an ongoing investigation into a criminal syndicate believed to be importing pseudoephedrine tablets to multiple metropolitan locations, an ABF spokesperson said.
