Borderline shooting hero Matt Wennerstrom honored at Thousand Oaks memorial after fatal motorcycle crash
A new report on the deadly mass shooting at the Borderline Bar and Grill in Thousand concludes that "we will likely never know the true motivation behind the attack."
Hundreds gathered on Monday to memorialize Wennerstrom. His friends and family members said they were overwhelmed by the display of support. "I'm at a loss for words, honestly," said Michael Moses, a friend."I cannot believe it. It shows, it really, really shows what he's done. I'm speechless.""It wasn't just Borderline, it was before that -- just in how he lived his life and how he cared for people," said his friend Carina Cendejas."I'm here to protect my friends, my family and my fellow humans," he told ABC7."I know where I'm going if I die, so I was not worried.
