Bournemouth could not make it two wins in two after goals from Evan Ferguson and Julio Ensico helped Brighton pick up a 2-0 win on the south coast.
Brighton recalled fit-again striker Evan Ferguson for the visit to relegation-threatened Bournemouth. The Republic of Ireland international, who missed the 3-3 weekend draw with Brentford with an unspecified injury, came in alongside defender Adam Webster, with Levi Colwill and Danny Welbeck dropping to the bench.Midfielder Hamed Traore and winger Ryan Christie were recalled in place of Joe Rothwell and Jaidon Anthony following Saturday’s 2-1 comeback win over Fulham.The 18-year-old backheeled the ball home from around eight yards out following Kaoru Mitoma’s low cross into the box.
