Despite Jarrod Bowen being a doubt for their UEL tie, there is still more than enough hope for West Ham WHUFC

“I have no idea at the moment,” the West Ham boss said when queried about his a possible return for Bowen.“In all the scans and information we have it does not look too bad, but his action coming off the pitch at Anfield made it look more serious than we thought. And that has not added up.

“Since then Jarrod is slightly improving but not as fast as we hoped. We did not think it was anything serious. So we are still trying to get to the bottom of it.

“He’s got great intensity and I think that was one of the key aspects where West Ham didn’t look as sharp going forward in that final third, but all in all, I thought it was a good performance.”He added: “[Around] 60,000, in the London Stadium, go and make a name for yourself, it is a massive, massive opportunity for any player there.

“If they can do that, and turn that tie around to get through to the quarter-finals of the Europa League, what an absolute carrot that is for the players.West ham have lost just once at home in the Europa League this season, in a game that was effectively a dead rubber “I’m looking forward to that second leg, I think the lads are going to be up for it, I think the crowd have got to play a part, they’ve got to be as noisy and as supportive as they can, get behind the lads.Betting Offer Of The Day
