Boxing Day looks set to be a day of travel hell due to ongoing strikes and roads set to be packed with traffic.
Rail bosses have decided to close the network down in its entirety in response to the latest RMT strike.
It comes at the same time as Border Force continue their industrial action, increasing waiting times for anyone taking a flight. Airline passengers will be forced to find other ways of getting to and from Britain’s airports as all services have been cancelled. They added: ‘There is scope for localised traffic congestion and more short trips, but traffic should be dispersed throughout the day as people take their time after Christmas Day.’They are from junction 7 to 16 clockwise, and from junction 4 to 1 anti-clockwise.
