Boy has died suddenly after tragic incident at school
A statement from St Kentigern's Academy read: "We can confirm that emergency services were called to St Kentigern's Academy earlier today following an isolated incident within the school grounds.
"All parents of pupils directly affected have been contacted and we are assisting the relevant authorities with their ongoing enquiries. "We have set up emotional support and signposting for students affected by today's incident and are unable to comment further at this time due to an ongoing police investigation".One person said: "Absolutely heartbreaking. You don't expect to send your child to school and not have him return home."
Another added: "Sending love and strength to this wee boys family. I cannot begin to imagine broken they must feel!"While a fourth wrote: "Absolutely devastating, my thoughts go out to this young boys family. Can’t imagine the pain they must feel." A local church has also taken to social media to ask the community to keep the young boy in their prayers.
