A teenage boy has died in hospital almost one week after an electric scooter crash in Logan.
The 15-year-old local came off the e-scooter on the footpath on Basalt Drive at Yarrabilba just after 8.35am on Tuesday.He was rushed with critical injuries to Queensland Children’s Hospital but died on Sunday. The forensic crash unit and child protection and investigation unit are investigating the incident and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
Anyone with information or relevant footage that could assist in the investigation is urged to contact police.died after crashing his e-scooter into a pole in an inner-Brisbane suburb seconds after he overtook a bicycle.
