A boy fatally shot a relative after a physical altercation at a home in Fort Worth on Monday, police said Tuesday.

The shooting took place about 4:45 p.m. Monday at a house in the 3300 block of Ray Simon Drive, near East Long Avenue, police said. The boy shot an adult male relative multiple times with a handgun, according to police.Police did not say whether the juvenile faces any charges or is in custody, and his name was not released because of his age. Authorities did not say how old he is, and they did not specify the relationship between the boy and the man.
