A 13-year-old boy has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after he was was struck by a car and reportedly dragged 300m along a road in Sydney’s south west.
Paramedics from NSW ambulance responded to the scene following reports a child had been struck by a car along Camden Valley Way on Tuesday morning. The crews arrived on scene just after 9.40am and treated the boy for significant lower leg injuries before transporting him to Westmead Children’s Hospital in a serious condition.
NSW Police say the driver of the vehicle was uninjured and has been taken to hospital for mandatory testing.Officers from Camden Police Area Command have commenced an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.reports northbound lanes are now closed along Camden Valley Way between Narellan Road and Anderson Road.
