CLEVELAND, Ohio — It’s safe to say Hudson’s run to the state final four couldn’t have been accomplished without the play of senior Noah Zappone.
Leading the Explorers to a 24-1 record before falling to eventual Division I state champions Cincinnati Archbishop Moeller, Zappone was instrumental with his play to take Hudson to new heights in boys volleyball. He is also cleveland.com’s boys volleyball player of the year for 2023. “He is a very complete player, in fact I would say he is the most complete player in our region,” Hudson head coach Larry Meehan said. “Where he’s increased the most this year is in passing, he’s a top-flight passer and one of the top two, three, four passers in our region and probably top 10 in the state.
