Brand new Bank Holiday Festival for Ormskirk after much-loved Motorfest scrapped

A brand new Bank Holiday festival with live music, street food and entertainment is set to take place in a West Lancashire town this Sunday after an iconic motoring festival was scrapped.

READ MORE: Final hours of Tyson Fury's cousin as he watched Anthony Joshua fight with friends before tragedy struck Tempting treats, street food and live music will also be on the menu at the Bank Holiday festival on the Sunday, as the Moor Street Night Market will make a return alongside the ever popular Artisan Market with an array of stalls from the region’s makers, bakers, artists and independent creative traders. Meanwhile, seasoned festival performers Jeramiah Ferrari will step into the spotlight on the music stages on the Sunday.

"This is a great example of partnership working and we're delighted to be supporting this event which has been driven by town centre businesses looking for new ways to enhance Ormskirk's cultural offer. The festival will increase visitors to the town centre and present an ideal transition for them to stay once the festival has finished to support the businesses which make Ormskirk's night-time economy offer so good.
