The thieves targeted several vans on the West Lothian street
A West Lothian man has spoken of his shock after brazen thieves allegedly drilled into his fuel tank and syphoned out the fuel from his work van tank.
CCTV images shared by neighbours appear to show a silver/grey Fiat Punto going around the Carledubs Avenue area just before 2am on Thursday 19. “I pulled the van forward as I was on a hill to see if the fuel level would change but it never did. I got out of the van and saw a small trail of fuel on the road so I had a little look under my van.
“There was one pointed directly at my van that caught a car parking in front of my van at 1:55am spending half an hour there then reversing back to the two other vans parked in the area and spending a further 20 minutes with them.
