Elon Musk-owned social media platform X is ordered to suspend its operations in Brazil amid an ongoing feud between the country's supreme court and the media magnate.
A Brazil ian Supreme Court justice has ordered the "immediate suspension" of social media platform X in the country, after a court-imposed deadline expired for the company to identify a legal representative in Brazil .
Justice Moraes's ruling entails a full and immediate suspension of X in Brazil until the company complied with all related court orders, including the payment of fines amounting 18.5 million reais and the nomination of a legal representative in Brazil. Mr Musk branded Justice Moraes "an evil dictator cosplaying as a judge" and likened his suspension order to "illegal political censorship".
