The Penrith Panthers have put the disappointment of missing out on David Fifita ’s signature behind them, signing outgoing Wests Tigers forward Isaiah Papali’i.

The 25-year-old was contracted with the Tigers until the end of 2025 on a deal worth $750,000 next season, according to News Corp.The Panthers initially made an offer of around $850,000 a season for three years to try lure Fifita over to the foot of the mountains, only to miss out on his signature as the Gold Coast forward first agreed to terms with the Roosters before later deciding to stay at the Titans.
