However, according to the Daily Telegraph’s report, the Rabbitohs were unable to provide the relevant information in the time required for the NRL to ‘make a proper and informed assessment of the player’s fitness to participate in the match this evening.’On Thursday, Mitchell took to Instagram, declaring: ‘I’M READY TO PLAY!!! I need answers”
Now the Blues Origin star has received his answers, with the game’s governing body ruling he will serve his one-match suspension when he is fit and available to play in the 2025 NRL season. Earlier this season Bulldogs forward Jaeman Salmon served a two-match suspension for a high shot on Te Maire Martin while sidelined with a fractured jaw.
