S Club 7's Hannah Spearritt has opened up about her experiences with breast implant illness

S Club 7's Hannah Spearritt has discussed her battle with breast implant illness ahead of her documentary airing this evening, Thursday 13 October.

It took Hannah around two and a half years before a specialist finally linked her symptoms to her implants, noting that many women who have similar issues have gone on to feel better once they were removed.“I was struggling to function as a human being on a day-to-day basis, and I think any other person would feel the same way once they had their implants taken out.”

“After the band, I was entering the acting world which may not necessarily be as focused in that way, but I did also feel [like I still wanted to do it]. “I went to see about eight different specialists that ultimately I was hoping to get an answer from,” Hannah said.
