Former Leicester midfielder Nampalys Mendy claims it all went wrong for him as soon as Brendan Rodgers arrived at the club - and his lack of involvement under the Irishman wasn't even the worst thing about it.
Four frustrating years followed for Mendy as he largely watched from the sidelines while Rodgers led Leicester to FA Cup glory and back into the Champions League - before he was eventually sacked in April this year. And it wasn't until after Rodgers' departure that Mendy was eventually allowed to leave for Lens under freedom of contract.
