The Hoops booted out an offer from English Championship outfit Leeds United for their midfield star who has hit the ground running under the new management regime.
Brendan Rodgers has opened up on the transfer interest in Matt O'Riley this summer and the chances of a new deal at Celtic.
The Celtic boss is convinced his value will rocket in the next 12 months as he continues to develop the former MK Dons man. There is already talk of a potential call-up to Denmark's senior squad which would be another step in his development and reward for his form. Rodgers is open in wanting to retain the 22-year-old to fresh terms like key team-mates Kyogo Furuhashi, Daizen Maeda, Callum McGregor, Liel Abada and Anthony Ralston.
