Brennan Johnson has sent a heartfelt message to Nottingham Forest supporters after sealing a deadline day transfer to Tottenham.
As his 14-year stint at the City Ground comes to an end, the winger took to Instagram to share a message. He wrote: "Words can't describe the feeling of gratitude I have for this football club and to all you fans. "Hearing that final whistle go after the play-off final is a feeling I'll never forget and of course, the celebrations with you at Market Square. Also the celebrations after the Arsenal game knowing that we had kept this famous club in the Premier League for another season.
Reds boss Steve Cooper has also paid a classy tribute to Johnson. He said: "Whilst we’re obviously going to miss Brennan and the memories he’s given so many of us when he’s lit up the City Ground on the right wing, we’re extremely proud of him and we’re pleased that he’s got this move as he enters the next stage in his career.
