ACTOR Brian Cox has called on Scots to speed up the push for independence at a major rally in Edinburgh this weekend.
The march will take place at 1.30pm, beginning at Johnston Terrace by Edinburgh Castle, proceeding down the Royal Mile and ending with the rally at the Scottish Parliament.Gordon Macintyre-Kemp, founder of Believe in Scotland, said: “Believe in Scotland is a campaign consisting of 141 affiliated“We want to create a really positive buzz and reignite that sense of community and Yes family that we had in 2014.“It was the grassroots Yes movement that moved the polls in 2014.
“We are upping the ante on independence and running a professional non-party and all-party Yes campaign – that is what will move the polls and help deliver Scotland's independence.”“From free movement to the single market, it is only with the powers of a normal independent country that Scotland can regain all of the rights and benefits we have lost with Brexit and choose our own positive and progressive future as part of the European Union.
