A bride-to-be has taken her perfectionism to another level after she sent out her wedding invitation — along with her “absolutely ridiculous” dress code rules. One of the wedding guests shared the dress code on social media, which was later re-shared in “That’s it, I’m wedding shaming” Facebook group. “I simply wouldn’t go if there were this many rules on what to wear,” the woman said in the post, which was accompanied by a photo of the detailed and lengthy dress code.
She clearly wasn’t a fan of florals under any circumstances and continued by saying, “solid jewel tones generally work better than florals.” “No black please and most importantly please make sure you cover your shoulders and back with a cardigan or light scarf,” she added. The woman’s post garnered many comments with people divided over her rules. “Imagine taking this list of requirements into a shop to try and find an outfit. The salesclerk would also cry,” said one.
