Conroe wrapped up an incredible, historic season. In the playoffs for the first time since 2010, the Tigers finished 27-10, earning their first district championship and first playoff win with eight freshmen, three sophomores, two juniors and no seniors.
In all, the Bears, who have 30 home runs this season, delivered four homers that accounted for all of their runs. The Bears answered with two runs in the fourth inning on a one-out, two-run shot by Stum. But Conroe countered in the fifth with two more runs with two outs on sophomore Alisa Sneed’s no-doubter to center field.
