The family-run business has been chosen as Uber Eats' restaurant of the year by judge Prue Leith.
Sandwich Sandwich in Bristol held off competition from across the UK and Ireland to be judged champion by judges Prue Leith and Monica Galetti."We are completely overwhelmed with pride," the restaurant said on social media.The restaurant team added: "To be totally honest, it still hasn't quite sunk in yet.
"This award serves as a significant testament to the dedication and effort that has been invested in all of our hard work.Television cook and food critic, Prue Leith, known for her role on the Great British Bake Off, praised Sandwich Sandwich's imagination and inventiveness as she chose them as the winner.
The restaurant plans to invest the prize money into the business and recently announced plans to open two sites in London.
