Two British children, one of them an infant, were rescued after being found "abandoned" in a car on the Spanish island of Tenerife. The youngsters were discovered by a passer-by in the town of Las Galletas, located just an hour away from the ongoing search for missing British teenager Jay Slater.
Emergency services were called by the concerned woman, and upon arrival, officers tried to find the father in the shopping centre, having discovered belongings linked to him in the car, such as a bag containing yoghurts and juices, which they accessed after the girls opened the car.
