Viggo Venn might have won Britain’s Got Talent through a public vote, but the show's result has sparked Ofcom complaints from angry members of the public.
The Norwegian comic, who wears a signature high-vis jacket for his performances, soared through the second live semi-final on Tuesday May 30, taking first place in the public vote to earn his spot in the grand finale.
‘I feel extremely visible right now, thank you so much!’ he said after his win was announced, while standing on stage with co-hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly. It was claimed that Viggo was booed by some members of the studio audience who were angry by the final result.Viggo dropped out of an interview with Lorraine Kelly after his win due to illness Speaking to her viewers, Lorraine, 63, explained: ‘Viggo was supposed to be joining me in the studio this morning but unfortunately, he’s not feeling too chipper but hopefully, we’ll see him later on.’
His interview was only delayed by a day, as he joined the TV presenter in the studio on Wednesday morning.
