Britney Spears has broken her silence after it was revealed that she'd split from her husband, Sam Asghari, after just one year of marriage. The Toxic singer, 41, shared a post on Instagram of herself dancing to Janet Jackson's 1993 hit If, singing along to every word whilst wearing a black crop top and neon green bikini bottoms.
"But, I couldn’t take the pain any more, honestly!!! In some sort of telepathic way, I have been receiving so many messages that melt my heart from friends and I thank you!!! I’ve been playing it strong for way too long and my Instagram may seem perfect but it’s far from reality and I think we all know that !!!
Referencing the ongoing Barbie movie phenomenon, she added: "Should I join the camaraderie and put a pink cowboy hat on? Either way I think I found my sweet spot with Roar." It's reported that Sam filed for divorce due to "irreconcilable differences". Court documents stated the couple had separated almost three weeks ago, before the official divorce filings were made and news of their split surfaced.
