Broad joined the revered club when he banged the ball in short, lulled Travis Head into hooking and watched as Joe Root gobbled up the ball at fine leg.
The 37-year-old joined fellow pace ace and long-time teammate James Anderson in the 600-wicket club, as well as legendary spinners Muttiah Muralidaran, Shane Warne and Anil Kumble. Muralidaran has 800 Test wickets beside his name, Warne 708, Anderson 688, Kumble 619 and Broad 600."Absolutely fantastic achievement," Michael Atherton said in commentary when Broad moved to 600 Test wickets.
