Rugby league great Allan ‘Alfie’ Langer has wowed theatre lovers at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre on Thursday night. The Brisbane Broncos champion appeared on stage during the Tina Turner Musical and was asked to help perform the smash hit Simply The Best.

After the cast took a bow for the end of the show, Langer was then introduced to the crowd to join in on the encore. “We have one more special for you all tonight,” said Ruva Ngwenya . “I would like to bring out NRL legend Alfie Langer!!!” Ngwenya then said she would like to turn back time and take us to the year 1993 when the Brisbane Broncos won the Winfield Cup.
