Brisbane Broncos forward TC Robati has stood himself down from all club activities after being charged with sexual assault.
The 21-year-old will face court in January after being charged on December 24 for an alleged incident that took place at a Brisbane bar on December 21 while the playing group was on Christmas leave.It is alleged that Robati inappropriately put his hand on a female patron.Brisbane CEO Dave Donaghy said the club “accepted TC’s position in standing down from all club activities”.
The New Zealand-born forward came through the Broncos Academy and development pathways and impressed the club to such a degree that he signed an extension through until the end of 2024.- AAP
