According to the call, there were no doctors on the scene at USC’s Galen Center before emergency responders reached James.The Hollywood JR / BACKGRID“We need an ambulance — immediately,” a caller said to the 911 dispatcher after the cardiac arrest. “Listen, listen, listen, get an ambulance here now.”
He was transported to the hospital by ambulance, though it’s unclear what led to the cardiac incident. After spending a brief amount of time in the intensive care unit at Cedars-Sinai Medical, James was stabilized, and on Thursday, he was discharged from the hospital after the terrifying ordeal and had made good progress, according to Cedars-Sinai.
