Calls are being impacted in one part of Liverpool, police have said
Merseyside Police has issued a warning as 999 calls are being hit with disruption in one area of Liverpool.
A post on X, formerly Twitter, from the force's official account on Monday said: "We have been advised by BT that due to a service outage some members of the public may experience issues when dialling 999 from landlines in the Sefton Park area of Liverpool. Calls from mobiles are unaffected.
