King Charles III has shut down speculation over his health, with Buckingham Palace announcing his return to public-facing duties is imminent.
King Charles ' long-awaited return to performing public royal duties has been announced by The Royal Family following speculation over his health since being diagnosed with cancer.
As a result of the operation, the Royal Palace announced Charles would step back from official duties for a few months. Charles' last public apperance was on Easter Sunday when he attended a church service at St George's Chapel in Windsor - his first royal event since his cancer diagnosis. “His Majesty The King will shortly return to public-facing duties after a period of treatment and recuperation following his recent cancer diagnosis," the announcement read.
“In addition, The King and Queen will host Their Majesties The Emperor and Empress of Japan for a State Visit in June, at the request of HM Government.” The snap was taken by portrait photographer Millie Pilkington and has been released to mark the one-year anniversary of the King and Queen's Coronation.
