The Buffalo Bills may have beaten the Chicago Bears 35-13 on Christmas Eve but when they returned home they looked more likely to encounter polar bears.
The NFL continued over the festive period, despite freezing conditions, leading to some incredible scenes across the States.5And what greeted the Bills stars as they returned to pick up their cars in New York, was an unprecedented amount of snow. So much, in fact, they were forced to dig out their motor vehicles from the car park with a daily record snowfall of 22.3 inches falling on the Friday, December 23, according to the National Weather Service.And Bills safety Damar Hamlin couldn’t help but showcase the scenario that he and his teammates were greeted by on their return.
One player was seen driving off with a huge mound of snow atop his car, while others were still digging to get into theirs. Hamlin’s defensive colleague Dane Jackson was then seen with shovel in hand trying to free his automobile, before then being shown squeezing through it’s half-opened driver door.
