"The Lower Sycamore and Sugar Loaf areas will remain closed until deemed safe," Tonto National Forest said in a tweet. The fire is now 75% contained. The U.S. Forest Service downgraded the size of the wildfire to 3,335 acres.The Bullet Fire remains at 50% containment. It has burned 4,178 acres.
"Crews will continue to patrol the fire line and monitor. Smoke will continue to be visible," Tonto National Forest officials said.The fire has burned 4,178 acres and is 50% contained. . "Fire crews will be on scene all day to clean-up and to keep the fire within the current footprint. Lower Sycamore and Sugar Loaf areas are closed for public and first responder safety.
