A resignation letter from a former employee of South Australian Transport and Infrastructure Minister Corey Wingard has detailed allegations of bullying, harassment and abuse in his electorate office.A staff resignation letter alleges verbal abuse and physical aggression in Corey Wingard's officeThe minister and the Treasurer say the issues have been resolved
"Since April 2017 I have been subject to bullying, harassment and abuse within the workplace which I am no longer prepared to tolerate. The employee alleged Mr Wingard's behaviour towards them became "increasingly intolerable" after they refused to take part in a "dishonest practice" of inaccurately recording the hours Mr Wingard's relative worked.Minister and Treasurer says issues resolved"What I will say, and what I did say yesterday, was for every hour and every staff member who has worked in my office, it has been accounted for. I can't be any clearer than that," he said.
"When differences between the member and staff member could not be resolved, the staff member resigned."I am advised that the acting manager of Electoral Services in a letter of reply accepting the resignation stated as the employer's delegate he refuted these claims 'as they have no basis'.
